Fc Ifeanyi Ubah Humbles Enyimba Int’l Fc – 1:0

What a game very much anticipated and eagerly waited as two juggernauts clashed with full force in a match that spelled great consequences for both teams for entirely different reasons.

While Enyimba Fc who are the defending champions has had a terrible season from falling off the title contention or rather retention, to their shameful display in the Champions League, they only thing they could hold on to going into the game was their pride and status as “big brother” which they hoped would be enough to see them through the day. However, FC Ifeanyi Ubah had far more incentive to go all out against the People’s Elephant as a win would help put them in a strong position to qualify for CAF Champions League 2017 while also, send out a resounding message that the Anambra Warriors are not just a Billionaire club but also a powerhouse to be respected and revered across board.

Who is who in Nigeria graced the occasion from Media Personalities to respectable Businessmen, Traditional Cabinet but above all, one person stood out heads and shoulders from the crowd. He is an international businessman, oil magnate, philanthropist and renowned humanitarian: SIR EMEKA OFFOR.

Sir Emeka Offor was greatly received to a standing ovation by the over 20,000 ardent FC Ifeanyi Ubah fans who came to watch the last match of the season and perhaps the most important one for that matter. Sir E as he fondly called by ANAEDOIANS (people from Anaedo: a region encompassing Nnewi, Ichi and Oraifite), went an extra mile to majestically waltz into the pitch to personally encourage and motivate the players with words of encouragement and firm handshakes all in the company of a proud Dr Ifeanyi Ubah, the President of FC Ifeanyi Ubah who could not hide his joy being with his mentor and elder brother on a historic occasion.

True to the billing of the match, Isaac Loute scored in the 4th minute to send Enyimba Int’l Fc to the bleachers as it proved to be the winning goal but the day belonged to Sir E who had earlier been shamefully slandered by SAHARA REPORTERS as being sick, blind, poor etc which turned out to be far from the truth much to the annoyance and total disdain of not only Anambra State but Ndi Igbo in general as such atrocious behavior is considered taboo in this part of the world.

It was a beautiful sight all round in Nnewi on the day even as Nnewians cannot wait to host international fixtures in this city known globally for its business prowess and high ingenuity across every aspect of life.
