Presently, President Bola Tinubu is engaged in a meeting with the former governors of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, and Nyesom Wike of Rivers State.
These former governors arrived at the State House independently.
Nyesom Wike entered the presidential wing of Aso Rock around 1:40 p.m., while Nasir El-Rufai followed suit at approximately 2 p.m.
Both individuals are nominees for ministerial positions and have already undergone scrutiny by the Senate.
While Nyesom Wike’s appointment has been confirmed, Nasir El-Rufai’s confirmation process has been temporarily suspended due to alleged security-related concerns.
