“I have a strong passion for being productive in all my endeavors and possess excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.”
The committee, comprising experts from both public and private sectors, was inaugurated by President Tinubu on Tuesday. Tasked with various facets of tax law reform, fiscal policy design and coordination, tax harmonization, and revenue administration, the committee has been given a clear mandate. Tinubu outlined the committee’s timeline, stating, “The Committee, in its initial phase, is expected to present a set of swift reforms that can be executed within thirty days. Critical reform measures should be recommended within six months, followed by full implementation within one calendar year.”
Heading the committee is Taiwo Oyedele, a seasoned expert in tax and fiscal policy.
