The acting Inspector-General of Police, Olukayode Egbetokun, is currently meeting with members of the Police Management Team at the Goodluck Jonathan Peacekeeping Hall, Force Headquarters, Abuja.
Addressing the senior officers, Egbetokun stressed on police proactivity to preventing rather than reacting to criminal activities in the country. The IG also promised improved welfare for police officers.
Egbetokun was announced this month as the Acting Police Chief by President Tinubu alongside other security chiefs.
